64-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck near Palos Verdes Street

LAS VEGAS, NV (December 21, 2021) – Saturday evening, a 64-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian crash on East Flamingo Road.

The crash took place around 5:35 p.m., on E Flamingo Road just east of the intersection with Palos Verdes Street.

According to authorities, the pedestrian was heading southbound across Flamingo against the pedestrian signal and outside of a marked crosswalk when he was hit.

The pedestrian was taken to Sunrise Hospital, where he was later declared dead. The Clark County Coroner office will release his identity pending notification of next of kin.

Additionally, the motorist remained at the site and shown no indications of intoxication.

Crews closed the road in both directions between University Center Drive and Flamingo Road while Las Vegas police responded.
