29-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Accident near North Las Posas Road

SAN MARCOS, CA (February 15, 2022) – Tuesday night, a 29-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian collision on Mission Road.

According to reports, the incident occurred just before 11:30 p.m., near North Las Posas Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Investigators later claimed that the driver of a westbound Dodge Ram 1500 struck the man. Upon arrival, first responders declared the 29-year-old pedestrian dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Dodge driver remained uninjured. At this time, North County Officials are still currently working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
