Apple Valley I-15 Crash Left Hesperia Man Killed

APPLE VALLEY, CA (October 18, 2021) A deadly multi-vehicle crash on I-15 Apple Valley claimed the life of one person, said CHP.

Officers responded to the incident which occurred around 2:49 a.m. at southbound I-15, just south of Wild Wash Road.

According to investigators, a southbound 2019 Nissan drove at a high rate of speed and lost control.

Afterwards, the Nissan overturned and stopped in the no. 1 and 2 lanes of the southbound I-5.

More so, the 72-year-old man driving a 2014 Toyota did not manage to avoid the collision, involving a 74-year-old man in a 2019 Infiniti.

Eventually, paramedics arrived at the scene and declared the Nissan driver dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Toyota drivers sustained minor injuries while the Infiniti driver suffered moderate injuries.

In addition, Apple Valley officials are working to determine the circumstances behind the I-15 multi-vehicle crash.
