Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 Left Woman Injured
SONOMA COUNTY, CA (December 22, 2021) – A multi-vehicle crash on Highway 101 left one person killed and a woman injured Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred near Petaluma Boulevard around 5:44 p.m.
According to authorities, a southbound Chevy Silverado approached a slow traffic and rear-ended a Ford F250.
Afterwards, a Nissan Quest going southbound hit both trucks, sending the Chevrolet and the Ford to crash in the median wall.
Unfortunately, the first responders pronounced the Silverado driver dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, a female from the same vehicle suffered from minor injuries.
At this time, the Sonoma County Coroner’s Office continues to withhold the victim’s information.
Additionally, Petaluma Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the Highway 101 multi-vehicle crash.
