Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Deadly Collision near North Silverbell Road

TUCSON, AZ (August 31, 2022) – Friday night, one victim was pronounced dead following a motorcycle crash on West Grant Road.

Police responded to the scene around 8:00 p.m., near North Silverbell Road on August 26th.

According to reports, the male victim was riding a homemade motorcycle when the driver of a vehicle hit him. However, further circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.

Upon impact, the involved driver of the vehicle fled the scene without contacting authorities.

Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. Although, police have not yet released his name or place of residency.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.

A driver must stop and take certain actions when involved in a motor vehicle accident that results in property damage or injury to another party.
