63-Year-Old Rider Dead after Motorcycle Accident near Via Zancas

FALLBROOK, CA (August 22, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, police responded to a motorcycle crash on East Mission Road that killed one man.

The collision happened around 3:40 p.m., just east of Via Zancas on August 16th.

Per reports, a 63-year-old motorcyclist lost control and slammed into a white Mercedes C250. Upon impact, the rider was ejected from the red Honda CTX motorcycle onto the road.

Eventually, emergency responders arrived and transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.

Crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.

At this time, an active investigation into the deadly motorcycle crash on East Mission Road is still currently underway.
