41-Year-Old Male Motorcyclist Fatally Hit in Crash near Loraleen Street

GARDEN GROVE, CA (February 11, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on Chapman Avenue in Garden Grove left a man killed Tuesday night.

According to police, the incident happened around 7:30 p.m., near Loraleen Street.

Per reports, a speeding motorcyclist was traveling west on Chapman and eventually lost control while approaching Loraleen Street. As a result, the rider fell from the bike and landed into oncoming traffic.

Shortly after, another vehicle hit the motorcyclist as he was down on the roadway. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, crews pronounced the male rider dead.

Upon impact, the involved driver who struck the rider stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.

At this time, Garden Grove Officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
