Male Rider Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on Old River Road

BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 16, 2022) – Sunday night, a man was fatally struck in a deadly mini-motorcycle crash on Harris Road.

According to reports, emergency crews responded to the scene just before 8:00 p.m., in the area of Harris and Old River Road.

Investigators say the driver of a four-door sedan struck a man riding an off-road mini-motorcycle. However, further events leading up to the collision remain unclear.

Additionally, authorities said that the mini-motorcycle was not street legal and did not have lights at the time of the collision. At this time, the deceased motorcycle rider remains unidentified.

Meanwhile, the sedan driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
