32-Year-Old Man Pronounced Deceased after a Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash on State Route 62 near Rotary Way
JOSHUA TREE, CA (July 17, 2023) – Thursday morning, a two-vehicle crash on State Route 62 left one man dead.
The incident occurred just before 9:00 a.m., on July 13th, just west of Rotary Way, involving a 2006 Honda Accord and a Freightliner dump truck.
According to reports, a Honda Accord was traveling on State Route 62 at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control. The Accord ended up striking the left front of a Freightliner dump truck traveling in the opposite direction.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the site of the collision shortly after. There, they pronounced the driver of the Accord dead at the scene.
Officials later stated that the driver of the dump truck did not sustain injuries as a result of the collision.
No further details regarding the crash on State Route 62 are currently available. However, authorities will notify the public once more information becomes available.
