Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted Following Fatal Pedestrian Crash near Hoover Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (March 29, 2023) – Thursday evening, a hit-and-run crash on Century Boulevard claimed the life of a male pedestrian. The incident happened at around 8:55 p.m., on Century Boulevard and Hoover Street. According to the investigators, a dark-colored pickup truck hit the man while going eastbound on Century Boulevard. However, the driver did not stop to render aid to the victim and instead fled the scene. Emergency medical personnel declared the man dead at the scene upon their arrival. At this time, his identity has not been released pending further investigation. The city of Los Angeles is offering a $50,000 reward to anyone who can help the authorities to locate the suspect.
