Driver in the Hit-and-Run on Highway 101 Remains At Large

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 20, 2021) – Authorities are searching for the driver responsible for the fatal hit-and-run on Highway 101.

Officers responded to the incident around 1 a.m. on Saturday on the 101 southbound lanes, just south of the Cesar Chavez on-ramp.

Upon arrival, the CHP officers located the pedestrian lying on the shoulder of the highway.

Unfortunately, the responding medical personnel declared the man dead at the scene.

At this time, the authorities are working to locate the possible hit-and-run suspect.

Meanwhile, the San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the deceased victim.
