Hit-and-Run Crash on Hubbard Street near Adelphia Avenue Left Man Dead

SYLMAR, CA (May 1, 2023) – Early Friday morning, one person died following a hit-and-run crash on Hubbard Street.

The incident happened on April 21st, just before 1:00 a.m., on Hubbard Street near Adelphia Avenue.

According to reports, the pedestrian was pushing a shopping cart when he was struck by a black Honda Civic driven by a Hispanic woman in her 20s.

Following the crash, the suspect drove away, stopping briefly the area of Hubbard Street and Dronfield Avenue.

Meanwhile, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the pedestrian to a hospital where he later died due to his injuries. His identity has not yet been disclosed.
