82-Year Old Man Dead after Auto Collision near Goldenwest Street

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (June 2, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, an 82-year-old man was killed in a head-on crash on Pacific Coast Highway.

Authorities responded to the scene around 12:30 p.m., just north of Goldenwest Street on May 31st.

Per reports, the man was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry and drifted over the center median. As a result, he crashed head-on into a 2013 Volkswagen.

Paramedics arrived and transported the woman driving the Volkswagen to a nearby hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, medical personnel pronounced the male driver of the Toyota dead at the scene. Although, officers have not yet released their name or place of residency.
