Vehicle Accident on Heather Meadows Drive Left One Dead, Two Hurt
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 9, 2022) – A motorcycle crash on Taft Highway left one dead and two injured Monday evening.
The accident around 9:20 p.m. at Taft Highway and Heather Meadows Drive, according to initial reports.
Eventually, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the motorcyclist to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators said the rider was going east on Taft Highway when another vehicle traveling in the same direction made an illegal u-turn causing the rider to crash into it.
Officials reported two other people sustained minor injuries. At this time, the identity of the deceased victim remains unknown.
