Male Pedestrian Hospitalized after Collision near 710 Freeway in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, CA (September 9, 2021) – Early Tuesday morning, a man was killed in a pedestrian crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach.

According to reports, the incident occurred around 3:00 a.m., on the 1200 block of Pacific Coast Highway.

Eventually, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the man to a hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.

At this time, authorities are still unsure as to what caused the accident. The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. But, the road has since reopened.

Long Beach Police are currently working to identify the circumstances surrounding the pedestrian crash on Pacific Coast Highway.
