57-Year-Old Man Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on 31st Street

SAN DIEGO, CA (September 12, 2022) – Sunday evening, one man was left with serious injuries after a pedestrian accident on National Avenue.

The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m., at the intersection of 31st Street and National Avenue.

According to reports, the 27-year-old female driver of a westbound vehicle struck the 57-year-old male pedestrian walking south inside a marked crosswalk on National Avenue.

Following preliminary duties, the driver claimed she failed to see the pedestrian before the collision. Eventually, medical responders arrived at the scene and transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
