Male Pedestrian Struck and Hurt in Collision on Van Buren Boulevard

JURUPA VALLEY, CA (February 11, 2022) – A man sustained injuries after a pedestrian accident on Limonite Avenue, Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened near the intersection of Limonite Avenue and Van Buren Boulevard around 12:40 p.m. Crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to authorities the man was blocking the traffic and refusing to move out of the road. There, the driver of a white 2007 Ford F350 halted to avoid hitting the man.

For reasons unknown, arguments started to arise between two men before the vehicle driver struck the male pedestrian, and drove away.

Upon impact, the male pedestrian sustained minor injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.

At this time, it is still currently unclear what caused the collision. The investigation into the crash on Limonite Avenue remains underway.
