Male Pedestrian Hospitalized after Traffic Accident on 2nd Avenue

SEATTLE, WA (April 25, 2022) An unidentified man suffered injuries Friday afternoon, following a pedestrian accident on 2nd Avenue.

The crash happened, near 2nd Avenue Extension S and South Main Street. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to the Seattle Police Department, an unspecified vehicle struck a man in his fifties. The collision sent the victim underneath the vehicle, and responding fire crews had to free the trapped victim.

Responding paramedics then transported the man with critical injuries to Harborview Medical Center. Although, there has been no update on his current condition.

No further information is available at this time, however, an active investigation is underway.
