The incident occurred just afternoon, just three miles north of Highway 46.

According to the CHP, a 30-year-old Harley Davidson rider drifted to the right and struck a metal guardrail while going southbound.

In addition, investigators also claimed that the collision threw the motorcyclist off his bike.

Eventually, medical personnel responded at the scene and airlifted the man to a hospital.

At this time, the California Highway Patrol officials are investigating the Highway 41 motorcycle crash.

Motorcyclists rarely escape injury when an accident occurs. It is important to never underestimate the bike’s speed when you’re riding a motorcycle. Additionally, strictly follow traffic laws and the conditions of the road. For other drivers, do not tailgate a motorcyclist and maintain a safe following distance. Give motorcyclists a full traffic lane when you pass, as they too have equal rights on the road.
