Male Scooter Rider Hospitalized after Being Hit by Car on Mission Street

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 13, 2021) – One man riding his scooter sustained injuries Wednesday night after a hit-and-run collision on Mission Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 11:09 p.m. in the area of Mission Street and St. Mary’s Avenue. The man was riding his scooter when a vehicle struck him, though the events leading up to the crash is still unknown.

Emergency crews responded and transported the victim with life-threatening injuries to the hospital for treatment.

At this time, officials have not given any details about the crash, however, an active investigation is underway.
