Ambulance Involved in Multi-Vehicle Crash near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

SACRAMENTO, CA (September 23, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, a two-vehicle accident on 14th Avenue left one man injured.

The incident happened shortly before 2:00 a.m., near the intersection of 14th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

According to initial reports, a sedan was traveling in the area when it collided with an ambulance at the intersection. The impact of the collision caused the ambulance to tip over and the sedan sustained front-end damage.

When emergency crews arrived, they located the driver of the sedan with serious injuries. Medics transported him to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, two paramedics inside the ambulance escaped the crash unharmed.
