Pedestrian Crash on Grand Avenue Left Man with Head Injuries

PACIFIC BEACH, CA (November 24, 2021)  – A vehicle vs pedestrian crash on Grand Avenue left an unnamed man hospitalized early Sunday morning.

According reports, the incident happened around 5 a.m. of November 21 in the area of Grand Avenue and Everts Street.

As per CHP, a vehicle struck a male pedestrian walking along the streets. As a result, the man suffered a head injury and had difficulty in breathing.

Paramedics arrived and rushed the victim to a local hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the driver remained and cooperated with the authorities.

In addition, the surrounding area was closed for cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, an active investigation remains ongoing.
