60-Year-Old Pedestrian Injured in Collision in Sherman Heights Neighborhood

SAN DIEGO, CA (November 19, 2021) – An unidentified 60-year-old man suffered injuries Saturday following a pedestrian accident on Market Street.

The incident happened just before 5:00 a.m., in the 2000 block of Market Street on the Sherman Heights neighborhood.

According to reports, a 21-year-old woman driving a Kia Sportage struck the elderly at the intersection. For still unknown reasons, officials have not determined the cause of the crash.

Responding medics rushed the man to a nearby hospital for non life-threatening injuries. At this time, authorities did not identify both the victim and the driver.

Meanwhile, San Diego police continue to investigate the crash.
