Pedestrian Injured in Collision near East Beyer Boulevard
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 2, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, a man was hospitalized following a pedestrian accident on Mesa Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 3:45 a.m., on the 300 block of Mesa Avenue near East Beyer Boulevard.
According to reports, a 27-year-old man was driving a Ford F-150 and struck the pedestrian. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.
Paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a nearby hospital with severe wounds. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
Those with further information regarding the accident are encouraged to contact local authorities as soon as possible. At this time, an active investigation into the pedestrian accident on Mesa Avenue is underway.
