Driver Wanted after Injury Hit-and-Run near Montford Street

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 18, 2023) – Tuesday evening, a hit-and-run collision on Glenoaks Boulevard involving an elderly pedestrian resulted in major injuries. Paramedics responded to the collision around 6:15 p.m. at Glenoaks Boulevard, just north of Montford Street in Pacoima. According to the investigators, a light-colored silver sedan veered into the bicycle lane while traveling on Glenoaks and hit a pedestrian. However, the sedan driver did not pull over to render aid to the victim and fled the scene. Eventually, units from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a hospital. The 69-year-old male pedestrian remains in critical condition. At this time, the city of Los Angeles is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who can lead the authorities to the arrest of the suspect.
