Male Victim Hospitalized after Head-On Collision near 46th Street

SAN DIEGO, CA (December 1, 2021) Tuesday evening, a man was hospitalized following a head-on crash on Logan Avenue.

The incident occurred at the intersection near 46th street around 10:30 p.m., according to authorities. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to witnesses, they saw a man passed out in his car in the drive-thru area of a restaurant on 47th Street and Logan Avenue. He apparently refused paramedic assistance and drove away.

Afterwards, he collided head-on with another car on Logan Avenue. Due to the impact of the collision, his vehicle suffered significant damage. As a result, firefighters had to cut through the wreckage to get him out of the vehicle.

Paramedics then transported the injured man to a local hospital for further treatment. Although, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
