55-Year-Old Man Dies Sedan vs Pedestrian Accident near Beach Boulevard

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (July 9, 2024) – One man died Friday night, in a pedestrian crash on Warner Avenue and Beach Boulevard.

Police officers arrived to the scene around 10:00 p.m. Reports indicate that the driver of a Lexus sedan hit a man who was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk. The driver of a Ford also struck the man who was down the middle lane.

Paramedics arrived and took the 55-year-old male pedestrian to a local hospital for further treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, medics later pronounced the man deceased.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim.

In addition, the 28-year-old male driver of the Lexus, from Huntington Beach and the 61-year-old Newport Beach man driving the Ford cooperated with the authorities.
