Male Pedestrian Killed in Deadly Collision near North Lake Avenue
PASADENA, CA (December 28, 2021) – A pedestrian accident on 210 Freeway claimed the life of one man, early Monday morning.
The incident happened around 4:02 a.m., on the westbound lanes of Foothill Freeway. Emergency crews arrived to the scene near North Lake Avenue shortly after.
Paramedics responded and pronounced one man dead at the scene who was hit by at least one passing vehicle. However, authorities have not yet released his name or place of residency.
The surrounding area on the westbound lanes were closed during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.
Authorities issued a SigAlert shutting down the HOV lane and lanes 1, 2, and 3 of 210 Freeway. Once available, further details will be provided.
