47-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Traffic Accident on Road 80

TULARE, CA (April 25, 2022)  Early Sunday night, a 47-year-old man was pronounced dead after a hit-and-run crash on Avenue 120.

The fatal collision happened around 5:30 p.m., along Avenue 120 and Road 80. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to reports, the 47-year-old victim was driving west when a pickup-truck driver traveled through a posted stop sign and struck him.

Upon impact, the suspect driver reportedly sped off and fled the scene.

Despite life-saving efforts, paramedics pronounced the 47-year-old male victim dead at the scene. Officials withheld his identity until his next of kin is notified.
