ABC Los Angeles reported that security video from a nearby business showed the victim walking south on Las Palmas and up to a black, four-door sedan that had stopped near the corner at Hollywood Boulevard.

The victim allegedly punched someone in the car, and someone inside that vehicle allegedly opened fire, according to the station's reading of the video.
