1 Dead, 7 Hospitalized after Multi-Car Accident near Cabana Drive

LAS VEGAS, NV (February 10, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, one driver died in a two-vehicle collision on East Desert Inn Road.

The crash occurred just after 12:30 p.m., on January 28th along East Desert Inn Road and Cabana Drive.

According to reports, a southbound Toyota Corolla on Cabana Drive swerved into the northbound lane and collided with the front of a northbound Toyota Highlander.

All seven occupants of the Toyota Highlander, including five juveniles, were injured as a result of the collision.

Responding paramedics transported them to Sunrise Hospital for further treatment of various injuries.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota Corolla was also taken to Sunrise Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities have not released the names of all parties involved in the fatal collision at East Desert Inn Road pending notification of their kin.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided.
