Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Multiple Vehicles near Franzen Avenue

SANTA ANA, CA (February 22, 2022) – Sunday evening, a man was fatally struck in a deadly pedestrian collision on Tustin Avenue.

The fatal incident happened on the 2400 block of North Tustin Avenue around 9:47 p.m. Dispatchers responded to the scene near Franzen Avenue shortly after.

According to the preliminary report, the pedestrian was in the northbound lanes of Tustin Avenue when he was hit by multiple vehicles.

After the impact, the drivers of the involved vehicles involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The identity of the deceased victim and other details surrounding the crash remain unknown.

Following preliminary duties, officers did not consider alcohol to be a factor in the crash. However, an investigation into the accident remains underway.
