81-Year-Old Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Fatal Accident near McDonald’s Parking Lot

SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 17, 2024) – One man died Saturday morning, in a pedestrian crash on State Highway 151.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:25 a.m., near a McDonald’s Parking Lot on June 29th.

Police officers say the driver of a white 2014 Dodge Charger was traveling south when he struck a pedestrian who was in the middle of the road. Medics pronounced the 81-year-old man dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. The driver of the Dodge remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Following initial assessments, police suspect the driver may have experienced a medical emergency that caused him to speed up. He was taken to Medical City Lewisville Hospital as a precaution.

No further information has been provided, and the fatal pedestrian collision on State Highway 151 remains under investigation.
