Man Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Collision near Vance Jackson Road

SAN ANTONIO, TX (June 12, 2024) – One man died Monday afternoon, in a motorcycle crash on Loop 410 and Vance Jackson Road.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m., on May 27th.

Officers report that a motorcyclist was weaving across multiple lanes of traffic before losing control. The rider fell into the roadway and was struck by a passing truck. Additionally, another vehicle was unable to avoid the fallen motorcyclist and also struck the rider.

First responders arrived to find the victim trapped under the truck. Emergency crews extricated the victim, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim.

The surrounding area was blocked for several hours during cleanup and preliminary investigations. More details about the fatal motorcycle accident on Loop 410 will be provided as they become available.
