Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Hit-and-Run Collision on Airport Way
STOCKTON, CA (July 5, 2023) – Early Saturday, one man was pronounced dead after a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Washington Street.
Police responded to the scene around 3:00 a.m., near Airport Way.
Officers say the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian and immediately fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting authorities. First responders located the man lying on the road upon arrival.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene.
