Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Cactus Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 4, 2022) – Sunday night, a male pedestrian was killed in a deadly hit-and-run crash on Otay Mesa Road.
Around 6:30 p.m., first responded arrived to the scene on Otay Mesa Road near Cactus Road.
Reports say that a man in his 50s was walking on the third lane of the road when he was hit by a passing vehicle. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the severely injured man.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, police officers are still currently investigating the deadly pedestrian crash. At this time, no further information has been disclosed to the public.
