Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Collision on Jones Road in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 26, 2021) – Tuesday morning, a man in his 50s was fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident on Torrey Pines Drive.

The crash occurred around 1:50 a.m., on Sahara Avenue between Torrey Pines Drive and Jones Road. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

According to Metro Police, the pedestrian was sitting or laying in the street at the junction when a motorist heading westbound on Sahara hit him. The motorist did not stop and continued driving eastward.

Due to the impact of the collision, the pedestrian was killed on the spot. At this time, authorities do not have enough information to reveal the car of the hit-and-run suspect.
