Man Killed in Fatal Semi-Truck Accident near Via Verde Street
SAN DIMAS, CA (June 6, 2022) – Early Monday morning, one man was pronounced dead after a big-rig collision on 10 Freeway.
Officers responded to the scene around 2:55 a.m., near Via Verde Street after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
Under unknown circumstances, an SUV and a semi-truck collided in the area. The truck was reported to be carrying 80,000 pounds of gasoline, and no fuel was leaked.
Meanwhile, traffic operations were blocked in eastbound lanes and one lane was only operable.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved. However, an active investigation is still currently underway.
