Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision on Walnut Street

PASADENA, CA (February 18, 2022) – Early Thursday evening, a man was pronounced dead after a pedestrian crash on Orange Grove Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 6:50 p.m., near the intersection of Orange Grove Boulevard and Walnut Street.

Investigators believe that the pedestrian was walking outside of a marked crosswalk when he was hit by a passing vehicle. The driver of the car was described as a 46-year-old man from Pasadena.

Paramedics arrived and rushed the male pedestrian to a nearby hospital for further treatment. However, due to the extent of his condition, medics later pronounced him dead.

As per reports, the 46-year-old Pasadena driver did not have a driver’s license during the crash. Police arrested him for driving without a license.

Police did not release any additional information about the pedestrian crash on Orange Grove Boulevard at this time. However, the cause of the accident and factors involved remain under investigation.
