60-Year-Old Rider Killed in Motorcycle Collision near El Toro Cut-Off Road

LAKE ELSINORE, CA (February 13, 2023) – Early Saturday afternoon, one man was pronounced dead after a motorcycle accident on Highway 74.

Lake Elsinore police responded to the scene around 12:20 p.m., near El Toro Cut-Off Road on February 4th after receiving multiple dispatch calls in the area.

Reports indicate that the rider was heading east when he was unable to negotiate a curve due to speed. The rider was then ejected from the 2003 Honda RC51 motorcycle as it traveled across the westbound lanes into a dirt embankment.

Medics airlifted the 60-year-old motorcyclist to Wildomar’s Inland Valley Medical Center where he died a short time later. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased victim.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details will be provided about the fatal motorcycle accident on Highway 74.
