Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on Ashby Avenue Kills One Man

BERKELEY, CA (September 17, 2021) An unidentified man lost his life following a pedestrian hit-and-run on Ashby Avenue.

The accident happened around 12:35 a.m., at the intersection of Adeline Street and Ashby Avenue.

Authorities received reports of a a man suffering from critical injuries in the roadway, although the events that led up to the crash are still unknown.

Responding officers pronounced the man dead at the scene. At this time, authorities are withholding his identity.

Furthermore no description of the vehicle has been taken as they are still at large, but the hit-and run on Ashby Avenue is still under active investigation.
