Driver Seriously Hurt in Big-Rig Collision on Nevada Avenue
VICTORVILLE, CA (May 13, 2022) – Early Friday morning, a semi-truck crash on Air Expressway left one driver injured.
The accident happened at the intersection of Air Expressway and Nevada Avenue around 3:06 a.m.
Furthermore, authorities say the collision involved a sedan and a semi-truck. However, the events leading up to the incident still remain unclear.
Firefighters took approximately 20-30 minutes to extricate the driver from the vehicle. Helicopter Mercy 22 airlifted the critically injured patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
Moreover, police say the injured victim was in critical condition. Although, authorities have not yet released his identity.
Crews closed the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
