Man Hospitalized after Car Collision near Oak Knoll Avenue in Napa

NAPA, CA (October 22, 2020)An auto accident on Silverado Trail left an unidentified man hospitalized Monday morning.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 8:40 a.m., near Oak Knoll Avenue. Emergency responders arrived to the scene shortly after.

Per reports, a 25-year-old Bellflower resident was driving north in a 2017 Infiniti sedan. There, the driver attempted to pass a 2018 Ram pickup-truck ahead, and ended up clipping its side.

As a result, the Infiniti driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a tree on the east shoulder of the roadway.

One driver, yet to be identified, was sent to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center with major injuries.

Meanwhile the pickup driver, a 26-year-old resident of Boulder, Colorado, did not sustain any injuries from the car crash.

In addition, CHP stated that the injured victim appeared to have not worn his seat belt at the time.
