Dennis RomeroA man was seen sitting in a pickup near a San Fernando Valley elementary school blowing kisses to the children recently.
Of course, police would like to have a chat with this well-wisher. In fact, they believe the perv might have done something like this before, according to an LAPD statement:
Witnesses also thought they recognized the man from a prior incident when he committed a lewd act while sitting in his truck near the same school.
The kissing happened March 12 around 2 p.m. outside Plummer Elementary School, 9340 Noble Ave., police said.
They're just now publicizing it, hoping you might recognize the guy or the truck involved to get the investigation recharged.
The creep was behind the wheel of a black 1995 to 2000 Ford F-150 pickup, cops said. The man was in his mid to late 20s and had thick, black hair.
The incidents prompted police to tell crossing guards and school monitors to be on the lookout. Cops also will be making random checks of area schools.

Lt. Paul Vernon, head of detectives at the LAPD Mission Division, says:
This is not some benign, friendly gesture. This man has been seen here more than once, and his behavior is troublesome and illegal.
