The 31st floor of the Westin Bonaventure Hotel got some action last night — all night long, actually — when one guest decided he was above the hotel's check-out time.

According to the LAPD, when security guards tried to remove him at 7:30 p.m., the man threatened them with a gun (though it still hasn't been verified that the gun exists). He also communicated that he had cocaine in there with him, though police investigators haven't reported finding that yet, either.

By 3 a.m., City News Service reported that SWAT negotiations had begun, and several guests with the misfortune of having booked a room on the 31st floor…

… had been evacuated, some relocated to other rooms and some to a conference room. Flower Street, running down the backside of the 404 South Figueroa hotel, was closed off as well.

By early this morning, however, the SWAT team had had enough:

They kicked down the door to the man's room, where they found him peering from the bathtub, and took him into custody immediately.

The gun and the cocaine are still M.I.A. Sounds like the guy may have been living out a failed Charlie Sheen fantasy, sans porn stars? But at the scenic Bonaventure, we're sure that's just one PPV away.
