Multi-Vehicle Crash on Kmart Parking Lot Left One Arrested

SALINAS, CA (May 13, 2022) – Authorities arrested one man Monday afternoon, after a police pursuit on Davis Road.

According to reports, officers saw the man drive off after hitting a car in the Kmart parking lot on 1050 Davis Road.

Afterward, authorities pursued the silver Saturn until he damaged his front axle on North Sanborn and East Laurel. However, he still managed to strike two parked cars before immobilizing his vehicle.

After attempting to flee on foot, officers were able to detain the suspect driver. Salina Officials booked him in Monterey County Jail.

One person sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
