Man Airlifted after Two-Vehicle Collision on Zediker Avenue

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (February 24, 2022) – Thursday, one man was airlifted after a two-car crash on Rose Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash took place at the intersection of Rose and Zediker Avenue.

Police said the driver of a truck ran a red light and hit the side of an SUV. Upon impact, a male passenger inside the SUV suffered serious injuries.

Medics arrived and airlifted the severely injured man to Community Regional Medical Center. Meanwhile, the female driver of the SUV and the driver of the truck sustained minor injuries.

Following preliminary investigations, officials said drugs or alcohol were not factors in the crash. However, the collision remains under active investigation.
