Man Hospitalized after Suspected DUI Collision near Northridge Lane

SEABECK, WA (October 25, 2021)  On Tuesday, a 62-year-old Bremerton woman was involved in a suspected DUI crash on Seabeck Highway, injuring her son.

The collision occurred on Seabeck Highway at Northridge Lane around 6:00 p.m. on October 19.

According to a witness, they were traveling down the road when they noticed a white 2015 Toyota 4Runner tailgating them, so they pulled over to allow the car to pass.

Following, the Toyota went at a high rate of speed, and flipped over in the ditch near Northridge Lane.

The witness assisted a woman out of the car, but her 42-year-old son was still struck inside.

Paramedics extricated him and airlifted him to Harborview Medical Center, with significant but non-life threatening injuries.

Officers currently believe that intoxication played a factor. However, further details will be provided once available.
