Man Pronounced Dead Following Hit-and-Run Accident on 5th Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 4, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, Connor Crawford and 3 dogs were killed in a hit-and-run crash on Hill Street.
The collision happened around 12:20 a.m., near the intersection of 5th and Hill Street on September 29th.
Reports indicate that Crawford was walking his dog and his roomate’s two dogs when he was struck by a northbound vehicle. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without contacting authorities.
Medics arrived and pronounced 32-year-old Crawford and all three dogs dead at the scene.
Authorities added that the vehicle had already struck six other cars prior to striking Crawford. The driver was located and charged with DUI and faces potential charges of hit-and-run, and manslaughter.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
