The place to avoid, apparently, is Malibu.
And not just because David Geffen doesn't want you there.
Yes, despite the concentration of billionaires, babes and gaudy, Tuscan-villa architecture, the rich folks of Malibu are some dirty girls:
Surfrider Beach just north of the pier is the fourth most-polluted beach in California, according to Heal the Bay's just-released annual Beach Report Card, which looked at summer water quality from last year.
But it's not the only place: 5 out of the 10 worst beaches in California were in Malibu, according to the group:

Surfrider Beach is no stranger to the Beach Bummer list, having made eight
appearances since 1999. This year, Surfrider is the fourth most polluted beach in the state. Poor water quality grades appear to correlate with conditions in Malibu Lagoon.
Yeah, blame that controversial lagoon, which seems to harbor some of the 'Bu's toilet water — literally. Those folks up in the hills seem to be gifting the surfing community with waste via leaky septic tanks.
And thus, the 'Bu flu, ear infections and other funky floaters shall continue to greet the surfers of first, second and third point.
For that, Malibu gets an F, even if its residents are A-listers.
